A Sonoma County Courthouse Elopement

Whether you’re local or Sonoma County is your destination, some couples prefer the simplicity of a civil ceremony but don’t want to sacrifice having the day professionally photographed.

This is where documentary wedding photography thrives.

From the time you arrive, the experience naturally unfolds:

What to expect inside the Sonoma County Courthouse for a Civil Ceremony Wedding or Elopement in Santa Rosa, CA.

All within about one hour.

And from my experience photographing here, there were no photography restrictions to worry about. I was welcomed by the Recorder’s Office staff and able to stand back and document the couple as everything naturally happened.

If you’re thinking about eloping in Sonoma Wine Country, the Sonoma County Courthouse is worth considering. It’s not the most scenic facility for photographs, but the friendly staff and simplicity of the process make it a great starting point for an intimate wedding day.

Offered as an extended package or standalone two-hour session.

$600 per hour

This entire day can be customized to any other location as long as there are no restrictions for the photographer.
